On this page, you can access downloadable copies of the cover artwork, inside artwork, and/or liner notes from some of the Jade Warrior albums.
These images are from copies of the LPs I own. I scanned in each image using a Hewlett-Packard 4P scanner, in two vertical strips (the albums are too wide to fit on a standard flatbed scanner, alas) at a resolution of 150 pixels/inch. The two strips were aligned, color-matched, and spliced together using a brute-force pattern-patching script I cobbled together using the NETPBM tools, some Bourne-shell and perl scripts, and some C code.
Some images were retouched (lightly or extensively) using The GIMP, to correct for fading or marring of the original covers. Most images were converted to JPEG format, while others are in PNG.
A word of warning - although these images have been compressed into JPEG or PNG format, they're still quite large. Most of them are between 500Kbytes and 1 megabyte. Be prepared for a fairly long download...
